Sen. Mark Kelly (D-AZ) fired back at Elon Musk on Monday after the Tesla billionaire called him a “traitor’ for visiting Ukraine.

Kelly, a former astronaut and Navy captain, posted a lengthy thread on Sunday about his visit to Ukraine. He wrote, “Just left Ukraine. What I saw proved to me we can’t give up on the Ukrainian people. Everyone wants this war to end, but any agreement has to protect Ukraine’s security and can’t be a giveaway to Putin. Let me tell you about my trip and why it’s important we stand with Ukraine.”

Musk replied to Kelly’s post, “You are a traitor.”

Kelly, a decorated naval aviator, later hit back at the South Africa-born Trump supporter, saying, “Traitor? Elon, if you don’t understand that defending freedom is a basic tenet of what makes America great and keeps us safe, maybe you should leave it to those of us who do.”

That’s an excellent response.

Coming from Musk who used his mother's birth and 2 years as an infant in Canada to get citizenship there and avoid getting drafted into the S. African military. He has never served for Canada or the US, such hypocrisy. Only able to be naturalized because they ignored his violations of immigration law by staying on a student visa after never showing up for Stanford as a grad student. He wouldn't know the meaning of the word.

Typical bully behavior. He throws taunts and insults, and then skips back to avoid the justifiable backlash. All the while he points his finger at his victim and calls out his “vindication” and “proof.”

He will keep doing it until he finds that individual who will take him behind the woodshed and put a hurting on him, metaphorically speaking of course.
