I'm sorry to report that Kevin Drum passed away on Friday. He was one of the early effective bloggers, and he took up a leadership role in telling the truth when others in government and business bent the truth.

I must confess to not being familiar with Kevin Drum. It's always sad to lose an intelligent voice, especially in these times.
