Seed starting update

Another 3-4 weeks to go indoors.

Those look amazing! I have a a couple of tomato plants that were almost 2’ tall before I repotted them deeper. Soon I’ll start moving them to the greenhouse for field trips to harden off slowly.

My tomatoes were the last to be planted-- just coming up now. Meant to start them at least a week earlier and spaced but I think I'll be OK. The lighting makes them hard to see but I have some with tall flower stalks (Clary Sage) that are becoming a bit of a problem.

For me, it’s the superhot peppers that always lag behind. The taller stuff does make light positioning a challenge. Sometimes I elevate the shorter plants. Those tomatoes will catch up quickly once outside. I can never tell which were the smaller/later plants a month or two after planting outside.

I quit growing after I realized I had no use for any of it and it was just going moldy. Would have been happy to donate it but things don't really work like that....
