Amazon’s 'Prime Day' event is July 8–11

Prime members can shop Amazon’s Prime Day event July 8–11.

I canceled a few months ago but am wondering if getting it for one month now at $15/month would be worth it. I'm seeing quite a few decent 'Prime Only' deals on Slickdeals.

A deal's a deal and the impacts are very asymmetric. Bezos won't miss my few bucks lost from my boycott as much as I'll miss the few bucks extra I have to spend if I shop somewhere else.

But only buy if you actually need the stuff.

I have a few things in my shopping cart. I've held off buying just to see if they go on sale. I need them, but no huge hurry
