It's a long article, but skip through it and read the good parts.

Art by the yard

I'd like to see him do a cage match with the Walmart art buyer

My favorite quote -

"But you've got to remember," he said, "I'm the idol to these women who are there. They sell my work every day, you know. They're enamored with any attention I would give them. I don't know what kind of flirting they were trying to do with me. I don't recall what was going on that night."

What an asshole. What a terrible artist.

(good businessman though)

All this time, I thought the reason those galleries were going out of businesses was because most people realize his paintings are crap. Or at least, that prints of his paintings weren't worth $1800.

"Oh no! I lost $3 million setting up Thomas Kinkade franchises that went under! It's all his fault because he's not the good Christian I thought he was! He peed on Winnie the Pooh!"

Why don't these people sue their Lord instead? That's where their real beef is.

Hard to feel sorry for people that would invest everything they have in a Kinkade exclusive gallery.

Just dumb...
