This is just to access my FTP server at 1 and 1.
FTP on Panther. Is it built in or do I still need Fetch?

I think you still need a third party client to upload to an ftp server (unless you're adept at working in the Terminal). You can mount and download from an ftp server in the finder, but I think you still can't upload (at least the last time I checked).
good luck.

If your ISP supports SFTP, there are two pretty good free SFTP clients in cyberduck and fugu. Cyberduck does non-secure FTP as well.
If you're willing to spend a little, then Transmit is my favorite FTP client. If you want a Finder-like interface, try NetFinder. I am not a big fan of Fetch, so I'd avoid that, personally.

I like transmit.

I prefer Transmit, but Cyberduck is a very good piece of freeware. Haven't touched Fetch in ages, and don't even think of using the Finder's wonky FTP functionality.

I'll stick with rBrowser until it stops serving its purpose for me, and I don't foresee that happening. http://www.rbrowser.com/

CyberDuck. It's free and nice. Transmit is nice too but why use that when CyberDuck is free?
