Quicksilver G4 933 and 30" Apple Cinema Display– Which Cards?
#1
Title about sums it up. I can't seem to figure out which will/won't work.
I hear the Radeon 9600 will and then hear that ATI doesn't support that card in the QS machines.

I looked at Strangedog cards and I'm now more confused.

Oh yeah, not overly concerned with games, it's a work machine used for graphic design and some video. I'll be replacing two aged Pressview 21" monitors.

Anyone?

Yes, I saw that, but read on StrangeDogs.com that ATI doesn't support the QS with that card. That's why I asked…

Yeah, just spent 30 minutes on hold with ATI– they say it will work. Too bad, they had a $30 rebate on it a week ago.

Wish I could just jam a couple of the old Thunder GX 1600 Nubus Cards I have stashed away inside of there.
