If you are near a Fry's, I recommend heading in there and getting an idea of what you want. They have a large assortment of LED flashlights by the components area. Then buy them online.

...need to pay with Paypal. Sold a bunch of old crap and now have some bucks in that account I don't want to slide into the "general fund" if you married types in the reading audience know what I'm a talking about ...

Not a "deal"... but some GREAT flashlights!

By contrast, I bought a cheap LED light from the Geeks.. ( I think) for like $9. Not bad.. but now I wish I had the same model of Surefire that my friend bought!

I read that the brandname "photon" is supposed to be good. Don't know if they come in a full range of sizes, though, I read about keyring sized ones.

If you already have a "Mag Light" there are LED inserts for them, just GOOGLE "Mag Light and LED" for starters!!!

Costco has some emergency hand crank LED flashlights for $20/pr.

Very handy. Not super bright, not real long range, but you'll never have to worry about dead batteries.

The Inova line is nice, and some of them are quite bright.
