Whats with Ozzie and this sportswriter guy. They have a bad date and not agree to not date again or something?
Anyone know whats behind the manager of a major league team going whacko on a sportswriter type? Is Ozzie trying to out this guy?

Jay Marotti trys to be the most controversial guy in sports and apparently has taken on Ozzie in the past. Ozzie is more than a little crazy too. They love Ozzie on the South Side though and Jay sells papers for the Sun Times. I think Guillen went overboard.

It's an 88 year old goat and passed on. I think it started in 1918 when Red Sox won Series. 1945 was last Series with Newhouser and Tigers.
The restaurant Billy Goat Sianis owned is below Michigan Ave. near river and truly awful. I hear inspiration for "Cheeseburger, Cheeseburger" on SNL. It really is horrible.

Ya that last beer can be the toughest to drink. It gets many of them that aren't on something else.
Red Sox had a manager, Darrel Johnson, he and i closed a lot of joints. He's passed now. Too many drinks over to many years. Ozzie might well take his money and go home, he'll not survive this one. |
