The sad, sad, permanent effects of a lifetime of drug addiction

It must be the drugs. If there's anything Limpbaugh should know about - it's FAT.

I heard that quote live.
Anyone that thinks talking for 3 hours a day unrehearsed, and having speech/hearing problems, a person would have a couple of those a day. Plus, being distracted by other goings-on in the studio and planning other busy details of a uber-rich lifestyle, would not help.
But, it was funny to hear it.

jeez, I'm not stoned or addicted to anything other than caffeine, and I make a few bobbles a day like that. Of course, my words aren't listened to and analyzed by millions either.

Rush must laugh hysterically at all the people who overanalyze his show. Like any media 'personality', it's not about who agrees or disagrees with him. It's about who listens and might actually hear the advertising.

What is he talking about, slaughtering a cow to get the butter? I read the quote 3 times and it sounds like he thinks you have to kill a cow to get butter. Is he that stupid or just that inarticulate?

The only food you can generally get in an inner city neighborhood is fast food and heavily processed snack products from the corner liquor stores, since the big supermarket chains won't open stores anywhere where the neighborhood median income isn't over $60k/yr, and the liquor stores won't carry fresh produce.

Of course, Full Frontal Limbaughtomy never read those studies.

Well, here in Orlando, they tried opening local minority-owned/operated supermarket chains in the poorer neighborhoods. They finally closed up because the locals weren't patronizing them.

Not to mention that the median income in most neighborhoods is below $60k.

So that part of your statement is BS.

Interesting aside.

Here in California the 600 pound gorilla is called Ralph's. Ralph didn't like union wages and started competeing with himself, he called it Food for Less, that was years before he decided to go into union busting.

Food for Less were stores either built or converted in marginal neighborhoods. Places where the ethnic mix was changing and they could sell second rate produce and meat products with little complaint. Stuff they wouldn't dare put on shelves in middle class neighborhoods.

This sort of grocery merchandising has existed for decades within all chains and is rife throughout the industry.

Low income neighborhoods get shipped inferior "fresh" product. Take an amble down the street to another part of town and see what these people are offered at the same or higher prices than you see in your local mart.

Reflect on the fact that they have no SUV to jump in and go shop elsewhere and their "Cadillac Queen" money doesn't make it to the end of the month; 'splain that to the hungry kid who might one day (given a chance) cure the malady you'll die from.

We live in a sick society. When we decide that earning capacity equals goodness, we all lose.

Teenagers often test variety of activities and substances. Unfortunately, this test can lead to abuse substance and addiction. Lots of surveys show that substance abuse is a growing problem among teens that is creating serious consequences in their life. Although this addiction can be treated on Greenestone rehab centers or many more alike, but due to the lack of awareness they didn’t get proper treatment. Drug addiction can cause various problems like anxiety, depression, mood swings, suicidal thoughts, brain damage and many other health issues. If you know any teen who are involved into this, try to make them aware about the treatment programs conducted on various drug rehab center that will get them back to normal life.
