Willing to pay $60 to urinate; denied!

Just send this to $Company's corporate email addy:

----------------------------
Around a week ago, I went into . I decided to get two PSP games, but - as dinner hadn't been too long ago - I asked to use the restroom, first.

I was told "We don't have any public restrooms."

I said I'd buy video games if I could use the restroom.

I was told, this time in a raised voice, "We don't have any public restrooms."

Noted. Of course, now I won't go back into the store for restrooms, or anything else. While I can somewhat understand a policy of restrooms for customers only, I can't spend money at a store that doesn't want me using their bathroom.

Good for you Greg. Usually people do nothing, or they bitch and moan and keep coming back to the same store. You expressed yourself with your dollar, I wish more people would do that.

I'm wondering what the customer with an upset stomach is supposed to do.

It's not about one person having to pee. Many people are self-centered slobs, and if you are going to let customers use your restroom then you have to have somebody police the restroom and clean the restroom and make sure there is TP in the stall and paper towels in the dispenser. It's more than some places want to deal with.

Small urban retail locations had to stop having public restrooms years ago, due to people shooting up in them. I know someone who had a junkie pass out in the restroom of her shop because he OD'd. Not a real fun day for her.
