And if some cop shoots you through the heart during a traffic stop because he fat fingered your plate and it came back as stolen, I'll be the first to say, "He must have been asking for it. Good riddance."

And if some FBI agent comes knocking at your door today because of an "anonymous tip" regarding child pornography located at your IP address, I'll hide my mouth with my hand to stifle a snicker!

You would find child pornography funny.

No, it's disgusting, which is why I called...I mean, why someone ELSE called the FBI to turn your sick ass in.

Pervert.

[quote herbiesyufy][quote M A V I C]Overall I'm just saying the kid deserved the same treatment the cops are getting. He was still only a "suspect." The allegations haven't been proven.
You're a sweet, sensitive, man, and you should send flowers to the dirtbag's family.

Heaven forbid that some criminal ever bashes in the head of one of YOUR loved ones...but should that happen, I'll be sure to send flowers to the family of the criminal too.
I would rather be beat down by an 18-year-old stealing my PlayStation 3 than shot dead by the cops.

And who is the criminal you're speaking of in this case? The deceased wasn't convicted of a crime.

Edit: Some more on this - deputies shot Strickland, who witnesses said was unarmed, multiple times. He died from a gunshot wound to the head.

The [North Carolina state] statute, in part, states that an officer can use deadly physical force to defend himself or a third party, to arrest a person who might present an imminent danger to others or to prevent the escape of a convicted felon.

According to a search warrant, seven bullet fragments were recovered from the house after the shooting...

If he was indeed unarmed and did not pose imminent danger, he shouldn't have been shot. Certainly not seven times, and certainly not in the head.

See, now you're just playing childish word games.

Would you rather be savagely beaten and robbed by a dirtbag, OR have that same dirtbag shot by the cops?

Easy answer.

Neither. I would like the accused to face a trial with a jury and let the judicial system decide his fate. I am not above the law either.

That's WAY more expensive than a few tiny pieces of lead. I like the expedited way these cops handled it. Raises all around!
