Battery life Zune vs iPOD?

I am curious ...do we have any comparison on the battery or is it too soon? I'm not trying to raise hackles or MSFT vs Apple controversial comments ...I am genuinely curious if the Zune has it over the iPOD on that score.

According to the reviews, Zune's battery life is noticeably less than the iPod.

Better be careful. Elmo 3 is likely to get on your case trying to compare Zune vs. iPod. He feels it breaks the cosmic inter-peace and harmony of the world. Kumbaya.

But to answer your question, the Zune's battery life for music is about 25% less than the iPod. It's on-par with the latest Gen 5s with video playback @ 3.5 hrs.
