I haven't found anything yet.
Is anything from Sharper Image worth the money?

I got a mini-back massager from them on clearance for $12 dollars, including shipping. It was $12 *before* shipping everywhere else.

i've bought a couple of refurb clearance items from them, and got what i paid for. recently got the wireless speaker set - it transmits from computer or ipod to 2 speakers and a sub. it sounds great for my $40. but, if i had paid $150 original price, there would be some disappointment.
i get the feeling of a lot of flash, but not much quality.

I think they have a section in SkyMall that I caught a peak at while flying to see my parents over Christmas.
The engineers at Sharper Image may have a cereal dispensing device that can take the drudgery out of pouring a bowl of cereal. It would be worth every penny to have sugar coated chocobombs back in my life.

I bought one of their massage chairs. They were selling it for $2k and I got it for $1200 via my chiropractor. I guess that means their prices are too high.

Yea...many things are, but yes...most things are overpriced.
Headphones are nicely priced for certain models. I have several things from there I consider great quality for the price. I still have a Roboscout robot that is a favorite. ; )

'worth the money' is a relative concept.
best guess is that if you're hanging out on a 'tips and deals' forum (or a refugee from a deals website), the added price for the flash is not going to come close to the satisfaction you'll get for owning it. That said, I briefly considered buying their 'vintage coke machine' until I saw the $2K price tag (in 1992 or so). |
