Funny!

But it brings that STYX song to mind:

Sitting on this barstool talking like a damn fool
Got the twelve oclock news blues
And Ive given up hope on the afternoon soaps
And a bottle of cold brew
Is it any wonder Im not crazy? is it any wonder Im sane at all
Well Im so tired of losing- I got nothing to do and all day to do it
I go out cruisin but Ive no place to go and all night to get there
Is it any wonder Im not a criminal?
Is it any wonder Im not in jail?
Is it any wonder Ive got

Too much time on my hands, its ticking away with my sanity
Ive got too much time on my hands, its hard to believe such a calamity
Ive got too much time on my hands and its ticking away from me
Too much time on my hands, too much time on my hands
Too much time on my hands

In some ways this reminded me of The Lazlo Letters http://www.amazon.com/Lazlo-Letters-Don-...1563052857

So you are clever. Conning nice companies out of nice stuff does not seem to be a victory for me. Sixties stuff.

Yep - Minty is more accustom to being on the other end getting conned by his clients ;-)

If you bothered to read it through Mint you will see he sold the stuff on ebay and then matched the
winning bid in a donation to the winning bidders choice of charities - in this case it was
The American Heart Association. Damn the 60's think of helping someone else !

BTW - I can believe the Nylabone story - it's a hoot !

I buy their stuff for my dog all the time (best doggie frisbee on the market)
and they seem like a fun loving type of company although I don't have proof

I'll bet the box being addresses to the dogs name was on purpose

'fil, yes, I am sure that the package being addressed to the dog was on purpose -- read the letter that Nylabone sent him along with the freebie. She mentions the dog by name, so it's clear that this person actually read his letter and wrote something fairly personalized back. And yes, I'd take from this that they're a bit of a fun-loving company... kind of implied from the way they responded to him.
