Boise State! (drat, I missed the game)

was one heckuva game, very happy for my old UCLA buddy, Gene Bleymaier, who has been athletic director there for many years. definitely an ESPN instant classic. another vote for a Division 1 playoff... really takes the air out of next week's matchup there.

I was astonished. 22 points scored in the last 90 seconds of regulation. THREE beautifully executed trick plays by Boise.

They are fun to watch.

We took time out of our vacation in maui to watch the whole game. Glad it was worth our time. Thought for sure "Z" choked it, like has has in some other big games. Glad he kept his head. I think BSU is around 25k students now. kj.

[quote MGS_forgot_password]Oklahoma is an embarrassment to the Big XII.
And exactly why would you make such an asshole statement?

Evidently, they have the game (somewhat edited?) on iTunes for $7. I am tempted to grab it.

I wonder about that too. My wife teaches at BSU, but she graduated from U of Idaho (bitter rivals), as did my brother and most of my buddies. In some ways, I'd like to say BSU sucks, but I can't see it. They're a good team this year, and there isn't anything embarrassing about losing a close one to them. kj.

I think you missed one of the best stories of the WAC - Nevada (or UNR). Nevada was the second or third best team the past two years in WAC play, better than Fresno and SJS.

I should not have overlooked Nevada. They seem to have a great overall sports program.
