Watching OSU fans cry makes me laugh.

I'm delayed 15 minutes on the ReplyTV, but WOW!

This is clearly the BEST that Florida has played all year. Leak has been on target and they have not shot themselves in the foot with penalties, like they usually do. They show why the SEC is the toughest, best league in the NCAA.

41-7 Final (I'm taking away the kick return TD by OSU on the opening play due to holding that was not called).

Hahahahaha!

Not one mistake by the Gators; only a questionable roughing quarterback call. You gotta credit the coach for keeping his players focused and in control.

No, it just shows that FLA is a better team than OSU.

Until there's a playoff, none of this matters.
Eight teams, three weeks.

Playoff... so when the 8th ranked team (you still have rankings, and there will be arguments who those 8 teams shoudl be) with 2 losses wins the playoff season, they are given the nat chmpnship? There would be even MORE complaining than there is now.
Leave it as it is. This is college, amateur sports. Let the kids have fun and have more than one top team win its last game.

College football needs to end January 2. January 8th is just plain silly.

this leaves no doubt that Boise State is the true national champion...

Either team (along with #3 LSU, #4 USC) would have destroyed Boise State. They played a great season, and went undefeated but barely survived against a mediocre Oklahoma.

UF played a great game - best of the season. OSU is better than it showed as well.

Yet another media-annointed overratathon bites the dust. Did ESPN have to go to black after the game? Are Herbstreet and Corson on suicide watch?

Or did ESPN even deign to report on a game that wasn't covered by (or won by a team under contract to) ABC?

"Honestly, we've played a lot better teams than them," Florida defensive end Jarvis Moss said. "I could name four or five teams in the SEC that could probably compete with them and play the same type of game we did against them."
