Photoshop CS3 forces me to use Winders
#1
Mostly because I can't find my PS 7.0 disc or box (my wife cleaned my office) I am REALLY considering buying Parallels and just using my XP/Windows and copy of PS 7 for Windows.

Sad but true.

Would the company have your registration information?

Who cares WHAT operating system Photoshop is running under?

Is it not the exact same program with the exact same features?

Geez, people. Get a life. In fact, you could set up a dedicated CS machine, running nothing but CS, booting (apparently) into CS, and never know or care what OS is under the hood.

Get a life? Maybe he only wants to use one computer, his Mac, so he doesn't have to be all geeked out with 5 computers in his office. Maybe he doesn't feel he needs to spend EXTRA money to get Parallels. Geez.

I put elmo3 on ignore a long long time ago and have not regretted it. I find it highly ironic that someone who is here seemingly 24/7 and comments on nearly every post no matter what subject tells someone else to get a life.

I have a pretty nice life, honestly. It's just that my travel computer on which I do use Photoshop on is a Macbook so I can't really drag a dedicated Windows box with me.

You can use the Windows PS 7 license to activate a Mac CS3 upgrade.

Also, you can look up your registration info at Adobe.com, they have a great license management system online

Pray tell, if you're ignoring me, how do you know I'm on here "seemingly 24/7" and that I "comment on nearly every post no matter what subject"?

Can you even begin to substantiate EITHER claim? Or is this just bluster in an attempt to excuse your pathetic behavior to the world?

Fact: you don't have me on ignore, as you've proven by your statements. You just like to bluster to the world.

So Adobe's changed their upgrade policy? Because they never allowed croos-grades, or upgrades to a different platform. You could run two copies legally (not at the same time) one on a desktop, one on a laptop, but you can't run one on a Mac and one on a Windows box? That's silly.

You can still see that a user has posted if they are on ignore. You just don't see the text.

Like others have said, Adobe should have your PS 7 serial number on file.
