Prince Charles, Climate Change=WWII

Arnold is one of yours now. He was a closet demo. His wife from the Kennedy family poisoned his mind. If you believe the Great Communicator babbled I feel sorry for you. You must be too young to remember him and his great speeches.

No, I am plenty old enough to know that he was spouting babble in the '80 election and for 8 years after that. He was full of babble for the '76 election as well, fortunately the GOP decided to stay with Ford. He was an actor, capable of making nonsense sound profound. That does not make them great speeches, just fine examples of the craft of acting.

P.S. I am old enough to remember some of the nonsense he espoused as Governor of California also. Too bad he did not make that the pinnacle of his political career. As for Arnold, he is far from becoming one of "mine". But at least he seems to remember his roots in growing up quite a bit poorer than he is now.

Reagan gave some of the greatest speeches ever, took the Communists behind the barn and freed much of Eastern Europe. On "Meet the Press" today they discussed his recently published diary. Some truly thoughtful and honest stuff. Even some of his supporters never gave him credit for the extent of his intelligence which is becoming more and more apparent. He truly was popular with the people.

You just call it babble because you hate Conservatives. You cannot be objective. He came from a poor background too. Arnold has betrayed his supporters. Everything he endorsed for in his election he has turned his back on. Kennedy influence.

I give Clinton credit for being a good speechmaker but it was all manipulative. He would say anything if it served his purposes. Charming SOB.

Why do the views of Hollywood get any attention? Not because of intelligence and merit but they sure can draw media attention. Leonardo spouting off at Cannes sure had him center stage for his liberal views even though he was there because he is a movie star. Maybe sports stars could jump on the Bandwagon. Heck many of the NFL and NBA players have college degrees.

Real easy to say from your basement, but how do you know I hate conservatives? In matter of fact I don't. Used to vote for one to be our congressman every two years, until he died in office. He was a straight talker, not one of these phony neo-cons who delivers drivel and makes it sound like fact.

As for Reagan, it was known for at least several years before he was even elected that the Soviet Union was falling apart under the weight of its problems. About all Ronnie did was speed it up a bit, and leave behind the Afghan and Islamic fundamentalists to cause us trouble the 18 years since. Also an extra 2 trillion on the national debt while he was in office, that became 3 trillion under GHW Bush. As for remembering where he came from, I can see no evidence that he did other than to use in making that emotional contact actors are so good at.

As for Hollywood, I ignore most statements, right or left, from the Hollywood types. What gets me is the persons like you who give any conservative comment from one of the Hollywood rightists great credit because their views agree, but complain when those on the left have the same problem with those statements as you have with the leftist Hollywood types.

I have never given credence to anything political or anything not related to entertainment that comes out of Hollywood. Not that I have seen much conservative at all. Not a lot of that going around with the beautiful people. The statements Bruce Willis made are news to me but he is not an expert either and does not dictate my thinking either.

It's not that I don't like my movies I only boycott Jane Fonda movies because of her presence. She cannot ever be forgiven.

Well, that's convenient. Doesn't matter what it is, but if the "Hollywood Elite like it, I hate it!"

They like sex minty. They like money, too. Some of them even like Jesus and the military.

Looks like you're in fer a lot o' hatin'!

Well I'm against it
I'm against it
Well I'm against it
I'm against it
I don't like politics
I don't like communists
I don't like games and fun
I don't like anyone
And I'm against it
I don't like Jesus freaks
I don't like circus geeks
I don't like summer and spring
I don't like anything
I don't like sex and drugs
I don't like waterbugs
I don't care about poverty
All I care about is me
And I'm against it
I don't like playing ping pong
I don't like the Viet Cong
I don't like Burger King
I don't like anything
And I'm against it
Well I'm against it
I'm against it

Still a good rule of thumb and I am not convinced of their religion and kind of sex. Religion? Worshiping Baal? Sex? Two people works for me. No more, no animals.

I I think most people have an ounce of intelligence understand that the threat from global warming is quite real.
Prince Charles has been ahead of his time on this issue very long time, let's face it he doesn't have to say anything, he can just turn up with a pretty speech and f uck off again.
Why put himself in the firing line?
Because he believes in what he is saying, he is believed long time ago as time goes on more and more scientists are agreeing with him.
Sorry Minty, I think you're just being provocative on this one, for the sake of it.
But that is your prerogative. I still think you mad. But that's ok. :-)
