I say hoax (none of the four retailers listed actually carries the product). My only question is, why? If it's for entertainment, it isn't really that entertaining.

If there are, I need a set of the Bob & Doug stubbies, eh.

Probably a 'viral' for some other (totally unrelated) product.

Viral has to be entertaining also.

It could be part of the hoax, but I did find a couple of results that said people found it at Wal-Mart. Since I don't shop there, I guess I will never know.
Motorcycle Product News is the only site that actually had an entry for it in their advertising section out of the five I checked. http://mpnmag.com/site/content/website.a...ticleid=35&zoneid=1

It's real - just did some googling...

I have seen ads for it on TV. I think that is about the worst name I have ever heard for any product.

Has anybody seen cans of it on store shelves in Canada?
They say it's been selling there for the last 49 years. The name is horrible. Something between "gigolo" and, uh, a common racial slur. The TV ads are really bad. I still think it's fake. None of the ads show a real product. |
