Adobe Lightroom: anyone else notice this?
#1
Trying out Lightroom 2. I noticed that if I straighten and/or crop a photo, the crop is shown on the "before" pane when looking at the before/after view. This seemed odd to me and I thought it was a bug so I looked in Lightroom 1 and it does the same thing. No other changes do this, just the straighten tool. The raw file isn't rotated. Hitting "reset" undoes everything as usual, and no other changes show up in the "before" pane.

Apparently I never looked at before/after on photos I've cropped. Anyone else notice this? I don't think I like it but evidently it's never caused me any problems.

I don't know that I ever use the "before/after view", so can't say that I've noticed this... Interesting; I'll have to check it out.

Thx,
John
