It is cold and rainy. Can you recommend a movie from this PPV list.

We've seen Ratatouille. How is "Live Free or Die Hard"? What about Shrek 3?

I liked both of those.

Netflix users give "Live Free or Die Hard" 4.5 out of 5 stars, and "Shrek the Third" gets almost a full 4 stars.

Have you seen: Transformers, The Number 23, Premonition, or SpiderMan 3? I liked those.

Those are weird choices -- Shrek 3 or Bruce Willis killing people.

I'd give them both a miss. I did not like Live Free or Die Hard and Shrek 2 was a disappointment.

What else haven't you seen?

From the listed movies that I've seen I'd recommend 300, Vacancy, 28 Weeks Later, Deathproof, Planet Terror, and Blades of Glory.

Another vote for Live Free or Die Hard, 28 Weeks Later, or 300.

I didn't see Shrek the 3rd but the kids liked it.

Live Free, 300, Transformers

I enjoyed all of them a lot. While I liked Eddie Murhpy in Shrek , I didn't care enough to see any of the sequels.

I haven't seen any of the others although Blades of Glory is in the Netflix queue.

Who is/was in the audience?

Interested in story or just mindless entertainment?

These were my favorite from 2007 (in order from absurd to sublime):

Superbad
Knocked Up
Waitress
Lives of Others
Little Children

I also saw 28 weeks later and I thought it was good. Not as difficult to watch as the original movie. The new Will Smith movie is basically the same story but much better.
