Anyway to use SCSI PaperPort with USB Mac in Classic?
#1
I could use it with an old Mac and transfer the files, but I'd be more likely to actually use it if I could go directly into my main Mac.

For $150, which is surely what your time will be worth screwing with any SCSI peripheral before you decide it isn't worth enduring whatever ditzy kludge you cobble together, just get a Brother MFC 7820 refurb. It's a sheetfed scanner just like the PaperPort but it works over you network if you want it to. (Or USB ).

Bonus: you get a FREE 20ppm laser printer, photocopier, and fax!

Well, Belkin used to have a nice SCSI to USB converter for around $50 -- might try that, but then, why?
