There are a good number of black people in Des Moines, Waterloo and Cedar Rapids that I saw (some I know), but the percentages could be minimal.

I didn't look it up to verify what I thought I heard but I do believe they stated it is 95% white there.

Looking good for Obama.

I believe New Hampshire and Maine may be the only other states with smaller populations of African Americans, North Dakota might have been champ but for the presence of military bases.

Interesting how the news keeps saying B.O. (wow that sounds bad) "made history" but doesn't say for what . . .

I can see 3% african-american, but I can't see 97% caucasian. That's unpossible. kj.
