I am truly sadden by this. When I say the topic and who had authored it, I knew it was spearmint. I feel like someone should call and tell Marg Helgenberger her biggest fan has passed away.

What a bummer! I was definitely one of those who would take 'mint to task for his often "fact-challenged" political rants, but it was all in good fun and the spirit of open debate. To keep an interesting forum community we need all sorts of people and 'mint was a truly remarkable forum community member.

minty was obviously a tortured soul and more than a little loopy, but he was one of the good guys. RIP, buddy -- here's hoping you've found the peace you sought in life.

Is it inappropriate to ask what happened? The announcement came with no information at all, other than his sudden demise. I'm sure I'm not the only one wondering what happened.

If there's a reason this is concealed, I'd respect that, as I'm sure the rest of us would. Of if it's been mentioned, and I've not seen it yet...

Was it an accident? A terminal illness? Heart failure? An unexpected complication from an existing condition? Cause unknown?
