2 year and 9 months and no major illnesses so far.
Last Friday he complained about some pain in his left ear, but in 5 minutes he was fine and we forgot about it until last night when he started again, this time complaining about pain in both ears. It gets better if you hold his hands on his ears, which he did, but then he could not play, so soon he figures out that if one of us hold our hands on his ears, then he can play. So he wanted us to follow him around... smart kid... no, sorry, you gotta stay here. I am not running around after you.
Anyway, we called the doctor's office last night and the nurse told us to give him some Motrin and come in in the morning. We gave him one dose of Motrin and he slept like a baby for 9 hours. Can't complain.
This morning wife took him to the doc, and yes, he has ear infection on both of his ears, left one seems more advances. Gave him antibiotics (we didn't ask for that, but the doctor said it's the best treatment) and continue on Motrin when needed, which was needed once more today.
Other than the occasional pain episodes, he's happy as always, no fever, no other symptoms.
Oh well, we knew it was gonna happen sooner or later.
