Course he will. But has he prepared? What in the world will he say about the financial crisis, since he hasn't thought of anything to say so far.

the CNBC story online is from before 10am. Wonder why none of the other news outlets are running this announcement. They have jumped the gun.

From another perspective, I'm not sure the barrier is now not set so low that no one will come away thinking McCain did anything but acquit himself. If you expect a debate to decide an election of this magnitude then the election is already lost.
McCain can sit there and drool but if Obama makes one misstep, things will change. It's all perception, if it weren't we wouldn't be in the second term of a Bush administration, would we?

It is all perception, and I believe that the perception is becoming that McCain is an old out of touch fart with out of date solutions to problems and a functional illiterate as his running mate.
