I don't think a CSA would have been powerful enough to make a difference in World War II.

I'd be Canadian. The older generations would never have migrated south.

Can you imagine the leaders of the South attempting to govern hostile cities of the North? New England would probably have seceded and a few northern states might have petitioned to become Provinces of Canada.
They'd have to let them go now that the principal had been upheld, would they not?

Perhaps US factories wouldn't have moved to Mexico, China and India if we staffed them with slaves. I'm sure if Wal-Mart were around in 1861 we'd know which side they'd be on

Southerners have always been a larger than average population in our military, here are any number of reasons for this maybe the single largest being economic. We entered WWI more than 50 years after the Civil War ended, I doubt they were taking in 70-year old ex-Confederates.

I meant WWII, not WWI.
There's good reason to believe that the Kaiser would have been defeated with or without us. Not so with Hitler's Germany. Would they sit out international conflicts? Would they be imperialists? Would internal conflicts with abolitionists lead to a second American Revolution? Would New England have seceded or joined the Canadian Confederacy?

The Canadian border today might run just north of the Mason/Dixon line.
