One million souls in Millinium Park, Chicago

The police cars would already have laminated windshields so taping doesn't make any sense.

I wouldn't be surprised if all the glass is laminated too. I've seen plenty of video of guys in custody
trying to kick out the rear glass in a police car but have never seen one accomplish it.

I don't have any idea what the logic is, but I have no reason to doubt my source.

I would not want to be anywhere near a crowd that big. I am not claustrophobic, but being in a crush of people makes me really uncomfortable. Something primal about it, like a herd of cattle that could stampede at any time. I would much rather watch on TV from the comfort and safety of my living room, with a bathroom right down the hall. :cartman:

Not to mention, if there's going to be looting and rioting, I'd want to be close to home.

Not only that but what difference does it make if the car is flipped over and set on fire? It's Chicago we're talking about! :villagers:

Funny - I've spent my fair share of time in Chicago at various events - The Taste, Blues Fest, Jazz Fest
as well as the July 4th concerts in Grant Park. I've seen the Cubs at Wrigley, the Bears at Soldier Field,
and I have seen an overturned rib cart or two at the Taste but never saw an overturned police car.

Butler field, where the 4th of July XRT concerts are held, is going to be the overflow/ non-invitees. The "official" area is to the south
They are promising that the overflow folks will be able to watch the proceedings on giant orgasmatrons or whatever those big screens are called.
Curious-- what bands have you seen at the 4th concerts?
I've been to most of those.

Toured Millenium last summer. Love it. Went by Obama's little house. Ostentatious. I'd move to the North $hore.
