My point is that in the view of the left the real patriots are the ones who go around the world and apologize for what America has done to them. The fact that you can't name a single post WWI conflict that America was right speaks volumes. Anyway, if you don't like my definition, give me yours.

Given that, my point of view is that a patriot is anyone whose not on the right, which is hateful and nasty and shallow.

The facts are that: 1) you wouldn't know a leftist patriot if he smacked you on the side of your head, and 2: Ted King gave you three examples in which the US was a party to the conflict immediately after your post. As the Firesign Theater (a famous group of those "leftists") once said, "Everything you know is wrong".

OK, so at least we have established the following. It is OK to invade a sovereign country, depose their leaders and stay there indefinitely(Afghanistan). Bomb another one for 77 days to settle a civil war and get involved in clan warfare in Africa. I take it supporting these actions are a sign of patriotism.
