I've weened myself off looking at MacResource and DealMac unless I have a specific need. It's dangerous to the bank account to look daily!

I am on DealMac more often, but have also been checking MacResource deals about once a week I would say. Something about the interface is easier to follow over at DM.

I typically access this forum via portal page direct link.
At work I'll glance at the first deal or two if I access by typing the main URL.
The top deals rarely seem to be mac-related so I tend to lose interest quickly.

i know MR keeps trying, but its still no dealmac -- not just the deals -- but the design

dont get me wrong, DM screwed up the last redesign when they stopped letting you access the last few days of deals -- and the searching...yikes

Love DM. I have made more purchases through them than any other site. Check them every day. Have been looking at FW too. For real exotic Mac stuff I go with OWC but most things seem to be universal these days.

Funny, and here I thought I was the only one. I still look at DM daily. My wife (who just doesn't get the whole forum thing and used to make fun of me for looking at a forum sponsored by a shopping site) looks at dealnews daily (they have more clothes and stuff).

I check the news Macresource news first. Ever since Dealmac went hostile, I do not visit them and have removed them from my browser.
