Does it bother you that Madoff is a Democrat?
#1
The Republicans have taken their fair share of greif over cons and swindles, but did you know that Bernard Madoff is a Democrat? Or was it intentional that most of the Media failed to disclose that factoid? I'm sure if he was a Republican it would have been the story's lead...

Here's a list of some of his campaign contributions.

He's a bad bad person, regardless of politics.

It doesn't bother me. If you are going to play that game, it's not even close.

Do you think he deserves a kick in the nards?

His political affiliation is irrelevant to the story, as he is not a politician and is not accused of bribing or otherwise having dirty deals in connection to or aided and abetted by politicians.

If that were the case, then your complaint would be a valid one.

By way of disclosure, I am not a Democrat.
I am a registered Republican, but I am in recovery.

Yes, it was surely intentional, for the same reasons they failed to mention the color of his car, favorite sexual position or if his library card had expired. See if you can figure out why, and then report back.

He was a thief. Are thieves born with party affiliations?

I liken it much to how we aren't told the political affliations of rapists and serial killers. They are bad people, criminals, their political party hasn't a thing to do with it. Being told what party a person belongs to when they are involved in a "political crime" is a whole 'nother thing.

edit for typo

Do you worry about the political affiliations of mass murderers too? This is a silly, silly, thread.
