anyone using Android?
#1
I've been reading ( http://www.reghardware.co.uk/2009/10/09/...2_gartner/ )about how great Android is supposed to be and how it will rocket past the iphone. Seems far fetched to me as I haven't even SEEN one yet. Has anyone here tried an android phone? Can it sync with ical, addressbook, etc? Without that it seems kind of pointless to me.

It won't rocket until they release Android v2.0: Fembot.

It's very promising on paper

Seems to replace windows mobile OS

Next couple years the jockeying will be between the iPhone, Android devices and RIM

We'll see if Palm gets any traction, but so far, Android seems to have grabbed that older market

I've been using one for several months now and I'm happy with it. Can't compare it to the iPhone since I've never used one but I have an iPod Touch. Everything works fine, lots of free apps. It won't exactly sinc with the iCal and Address Book but you can import things via Google. The last system update broke the virtual keyboard I was using to replace the stock one.... I'n running it on T-Mobile's My Touch.

I have the Mytouch 3G and echo what Wags said.

It syncs seemlessly with all things Google.
