Snow pics. Maybe
#1
I've never had good luck posting photos, so I'm not sure what will come up when I try this. I went out to thank the guys for taking my tree out of the street and snapped a couple of pictures while I was out there. Clicking on the link will enlarge the picture. Kind of. One of these days I might learn how to do this, but today isn't the day.

There had been a rather small pine tree (20 or 30 feet) out near the address board and paper box. It's now the small pile of rubble laying in the planting bed. Oh, well. It never quite recovered from the ravages of an ice storm so was my "Charlie Brown" tree anyway.

As you can tell, it's kind of hard to avoid being near trees in my 'hood!

Looks like the NW. There's a reason they call the Doug Firs widow makers. Shallow root systems make them prone to blow down unless they're in groves. Nice pix, thanks and brrr.

My nephew left his car at my place while he went home for Christmas. I sent him this pic of his car and told him to bring a shovel. He's at the very end of the driveway, maybe 60 feet from the street.

In number 2341 he (she?) looks a little embarrassed to be wearing a crossing guard ensemble. Be easier for the snowplow to avoid him, though.

You really had trouble keeping up with the Poochie, didn't you?! He seemed to be getting a bit exasperated at your slowness a couple of times. Smile Even Louie would wear a safety vest if he could prowl around in the woods like that. Poor Lou's mom just isn't up for that kind of fun; it's all she can do to make it out to the mailbox.

If I don't take her to the woods or the dog park and wear her out, she bugs us all day at home with her pent-up pointer energy.
