Carbonite backup

Just received an e-mail from these folks - I might have read about them in the past and asked for info when they got the Mac side up and running.

Anyone have any real world experience?

What if my data gets freezer burn?

But seriously...
I'm still a bit skeptical of online backup.. I never REALLY know who has access to that backup at the other end.
I can see it as a great off-site backup for a lot of users though.

Certainly an issue for us Hughes.net slaves...
And for others as well.

But there are still a lot of people whose total amount of "stuff" on their computer is still pretty small by most folks standards.
