Staples offer stacking update

I stopped at a store and was told you couldn't use the recycling credit on top of a sale-- the item had to be purchased at full price. The explanation went something like "I agree with you about the way that's worded but we tried it and the recycling coupon wouldn't print" (end explanation). So I called the 800 number and went around in circles with the woman I reached, who was fairly unpleasant.

My friend who needs the printer received this yesterday:
