The doctor said his mouth and throat looked fine and to just keep an eye on him.

Someone remind me again why I want to have children? Not that it is going to change the situation, but every once in a while I need to be reminded...

You think this is bad. Wait till they get to be 17 and are about to graduate from high school. The fun is only beginning when they are small.

I have my three year old that has had only one almost trip to the ER (her grandfather tripped while carrying her last summer and she bumped her head on the way down). Whereas the nearly four month old required extra care with jaundice and a month of bi-weekly visits to the lactation consultant.

Every kid is different and get into different trouble/accidents at different times. Good luck!

spacescape,

Maybe he stuck that nitelite in his mouth 'cause he was afraid you wouldn't be able to find him in the dark? If so, feed him onions.

Hoping it all goes OK.

Space- good news, thanks for the update. And kudos to your lovely wife for fast reflexes in the face of adversity !

One assumes the little feller is teething, yes ? Our daughter used to steal rawhide chewies from the dog when she was teething. I didn't see anything bad about it- she liked them ! And she's 21 now, so it didn't have any lasting effects.

You want an excuse for your hair going grey or you going bald that everyone will believe? Wink

no hospital visits yet for my girls (4.5 & 2) -- just a couple of unscheduled doctor visits for a rash -- which turned out to be Molluscum contagiosum, which lasted for a year or so, but is gone now... glad everything turned out alright for you
