How did I end up with two icons for the PyTivo app? How can I remove the extra one, and not the one that just took an update. Where are these icons or apps installed. I know where the apps are, but the icons get put up on the top menu via what method?, Thanks.

If there are two icons in your menu bar then you have two instances running. Find the icons in your Dock and quit the apps, then go into your Applications folder and trash the older one.
