Ferguson in pretty good, but the bar is very low.

Leno is as bad an interviewer as Oprah. I've seen about six of his shows, and won't miss him at all. Stay, go, it's all the same to me.

But the sad thing is that he'll be taking a block of time that I'd much rather go to one of the several show that NBC cancelled.

I think Leno's best never came close to Carson's worst. And compare Leno with Steve Allen? Fugeddaboutit.

Steve Allen... The Angry Reporter... The Man on the Street Interviews with Louie Nye, Don Knotts, and Tom Posten... Allen's great piano parodies, his obnoxious wife...

Now THAT was great entertainment.

Although Allen is no Martin Lawrence.

i always felt that Dave Letterman is/was very self-deprecating.

a smart-aleck, yes... a good level of sarcasm that i appreciated, at least back when i watched his show more.

Letterman is a favorite of mine.

And a really good interviewer.

A lot of people don't like him since he became relatively non-acerbic, but I thought he became a pretty decent guy who still has a sharp wit.

Watch David Letterman thanks to TIVO.

Loved watching Conan, although the wife doesn't care for him.

Some of Conans best shows were when the writers were on strike. He did his own thing, and went into the audience, and it was great. I can't wait to see what he is like on the Tonight Show. The man has a gift.

I like Leno, and I think Leno, just needed a change. I am sure his 10 oclock show will be good, and I plan on TIVOing it as well.

I started to Tivo Jimmy Fallon, but I just don't have that bond with him. He is talented, but something is just not there for me.

Always have been a Letterman fan. People don't remember, but there was once a time in history when Jay Leno was blisteringly funny as a stand up. I used to see him at the Comedy Store (while sneaking in Pepsi's to avoid the 2 drink minimum) and he could laser tag you with his wit. Like Fergerson a lot too. Only have seen one Fallon, have accidently woken up to that MTV dude and was unimpressed. I think Kimmel can be funny.

Ted Koppel was the best of 'em all!

Prime time network TV, aside from sitcoms, is such crap that Leno should be a breath of fresh air even if he does his same old same old. At least I won't see dead bodies and sadistic murders, so it's a good thing.

Craig Ferguson is the only late night host that I find entertaining at this point.

EDIT: cool ending. A+.

I watch the monologue, then go to bed. No problem sleeping. Couldn't do the same with Nightline.
