Little green car our car of the future?

I noticed on the Drudge Report and elsewhere an ugly green car with the front about 3" off the ground. It is bad enuf in my baby Benz not hitting parking stops and curbs...I cannot imagine this car and what your front will look like after about a week.

It might be more appealing if the they had pictured it in something other than baby &*(^ green. An immediate turn off to me.

Has to be a concept car, because as Sam notes, you'd have that bad boy banged up rather quickly on curbs, hell maybe even speed bumps.

You guessed it. An article in the local paper about the GM announcement had a picture of it and identified it as a concept compact car GM showed back in January(?). I forget the name, the copy of the paper was one I saw at the laundromat.

I want to see all our administration members driving around in them FIRST! No sun roof, tho...looks like what I think of as a FIAT. You may save on gas but body repairs are going to kill you. :burnout:
