A backlit keyboard! BACKLIT!
#1
I say again-- BACKLIT!! Standard, for the 13" MBP!

It's not a BP12, but I'm gettin' one.

We're talking about the $1199 model? I poked around the Apple site for about 10 minutes trying to answer this question but couldn't figure it out.
Do you know offhand if I can just swap my RAM over from the blackbook?

No RAM swap from Blackbook, max 800 MHz for those. All Unibodys (incl. last model) require 1066 MHz.

Indeed we are.

The FW800 was mentioned in the Keynote, but I didn't see anything about the backlit keyboard until I clicked on the $1199 model and started to configure it.

The matrix shows the backlit keyboard, in English, as standard, with options for Western Spanish (what no Catalan?!), French, and Japanese, all with backlit keyboards.

I think our RAM is the same for the now previous MBs- 667MHz. But the new 13" MBP will see up to 8G, and use 1066MHz stuff, so I'd guess not.

Ok, so that's a negatory on the 667, actually 800.
