You might want to get some "Great Stuff" and fill that hole! Just level it and paint it red, gray and white to
look like peeling paint. That would actually be pretty artistic...

Last year I had a smaller garter snake living under my building--had to keep an eye out for him so he didn't get stepped on.

We have quite a number of large garter snakes that have taken up residence in our yard. My sons always come running "Dad! You've got to see this cool snake" and drag me out to see them! Hey! We live in small town Iowa. We grab for any entertainment we can find!
