Xylitol gum?

Do any of you chew xylitol gum? I've recently learned of its value in fighting cavities, especially in areas where there is no flouridation in the water (hope I don't stir up a hornet's nest with this).

If you do, can you share what you use and where you buy it? I've found a couple of resources for bulk packs online, but I don't know if one is better than another. I would probably go for spearmint, if that helps you any...

Just want to add that it is toxic for dogs, so be mindful if you have pets.

I've read that it must be chewed at least 5 times each day to get enough to have any effect. That's a lot of gum-chewing.

Is it as good a laxative as other sugar alcohols?

Spry can be bought at more places in different amounts but,

Epic is a larger piece of gum and it stays softer longer.

I've been buying Zapp Gum the last few years. Love the mint flavor the most. There was a smokers version until recently.
