Hi. I recently had a superdrive installed on my mac. I'm running panther. How can I get the iDVD app? If I can't get that app without buying new software, is there another way I can burn a dvd?

Do you want to burn a dvd of your own making, copy ones made by someone else or copy store bought ones? What Mac system do you have?

Toast or Popcorn, both from Roxio will both do the trick.

iDVD comes with the iLife '06 package which you can buy or comes free with new macs. There are cheap copies of iLife '05 on ebay now that '06 is out. It's not the latest but it's still good.
