Help with older ipod
#1
I have an older iPod (60gb, I believe it's the color photo model, bought in 2005).

When I go to the main page, it starts with photos, extras, settings, etc. The music category should be at the top, right? Well it isn't.

I hate to restore it as I have songs in playlists that are no longer on my current computer (my bad, I know). To be clear, I have the songs, just not separated into the playlists that are on the old iPod.

Any ideas?

I don't have mine aroud, but go to settings, and then menu, or something similar.
There's a list of menu items you can mark, that will be shown. Most likely "Music" is not checked.
At any rate, I don't think restore will be needed
Good Luck!

Also use one of the many iPod disk utilities and back up yer music to your Mac ASAP ! You never know when the iPoddy goodness will suffer a mental malfunction.
