YIKES! I just stumbled upon a russian website that seems to be full of ID theft data
#1
I got a call from a number I didn't recognize so I searched it in google and found a russian forum FULL of posts that are full info that looks like this:

Live ==> | 1972-01-23|3568 Winey Rd|US|Cheyenne|WY|82022|Jerry Hayes|XXXX42019330XXXX|###|##/##|

all of the text is in Cyrillic except the info. What you see above is Birth date / address / Name / CREDIT CARD NUMBER / 3 number security code from the back of the card / expire date

YIKES!!! NO WAY am I gonna answer that call (they've called three times already) and no, I won't post the url of the site.

BTW - I changed all of the data in that line of info so that it's perfectly useless now. But there are 1000s on that site. OMG!!!

reminds me of the forest waffles scene from Shrek Ever After last night.

"There's a stack of freshly made waffles in the middle of the forest. Don't you find that a wee bit suspicious?"

There must be someplace where that can be reported, correct?

I found the United States Department of Justice Computer Crime and Intellectual Property Section

This was from a quick search, but maybe someone has some better advice.

I found my info on one of those sites a few years ago. I canceled the card immediately.

I was searching for a friend on Google a few years ago and stumbled onto a similar site, dozens of names and credit card numbers out in plain HTML.
