I have 40 minutes to figure this out...How to record streaming internet radio (through iTunes?)
#1
A guy I went to high school in NY with is now a DJ in Florida. He plays a show--Ripper's Rarities--every Friday night at 7. I can pick it up through iTunes. I can't always listen live, so would love to be able to record the show so I can listen later. How can I do this?
Here's the link just in case it helps...http://s4.viastreaming.net:7770/listen.pls

It's been a long time since I've done this - but StreamRipper X worked for me.

Seconded. I use it several times a week. Automatic, reliable, format options. It will record from any source on your computer, not just I Tunes.

I've tried Audacity, XStreamRipper, WireTap, and AudioHijack. The winner is...AudioHijack, the most user friendly and the only one I was easily able to get to work. Thanks for the recommendations! I can't wait til next Friday! (I didn't get it to work in time for last night's show with the Black Crowes and Jimmy Page from 2000, playing my hometown stomping grounds, Jones Beach. But, next week...The Stones! w00t!)
