Motorcycle riders on the forum...I bought a different bike!
#1
I really liked the ST1300. Plenty of power. Nice for 1 up riding. But after about 2 hours of riding, it is painful on the bum. I tried different seats but outside of spending $700 for a custom made seat; there isn't much I could do.

The older I get, the more comfortable I want to be on a bike. You can't get much more comfortable than a Gold Wing.

Plush seat, cruise control, music from the iPod. It's great.

Excessive? Maybe a bit.

Now it's really difficult to stay working in the office when all I want to do is play hookey and go for a ride.

Planning a trip to ride into Canada this year. Can't wait!

And yes...that's a lot of chrome.

Price range starting at $24,000 on up to $28.500 for top of the line including first airbag for cycle? Seems like a lot of money for two wheels?

I've been toying with the idea of getting maybe a 89 GL1500, stripping it down, supercharging it, then custom body work. The ultimate bike for the super slab.

I've seen them for under $4k lately.

Cheers!

I don't think I've ever seen that much chrome on a gold wing.

Nice cruiser.

That is a lot of chrome - keep it water spot free. :-)
