Firefox 4 hasn't even been out for three months, but hello Firefox 5

"Now the race is on in this brave new code-frenzy world for Mozilla to ping out Firefox 6 on 21 September."

This is ridiculous. With every new version number it means developers have more versions to support.

I'm confused.

I did find a feature list though -

Firefox 5

...anything that improves stability and is ready

FF 4.01 works great for me.

Firefox 5 now looks quite a bit like Chrome. This is why open source software is important in my opinion. They are cherry picking the best features and driving the software far faster than Microsoft can hope to match. Firefox and Chrome are far ahead of IE. Safari, in Apple's typical fashion, is simple and just gets the job done.

Was so bad for me I switched to Chrome entirely. Will be curious to see how 5 works.
