It's high 90's here with a heat index of about 108° (cooler than yesterday - was 99° w/ 115 heat index)

I have spent the majority of the day helping my neighbors son dig an 80 foot trench to hook his mom up to the sewer system.
He helped me roof my house in July a couple years ago so I owed him one. The cab on the excavator has A/C but hardly worth the effort
because with all the glass it's still hot. It actually felt better to be below ground in the ditch where the soil was cool. We need to finish
grading it tomorrow and lay pipe. It doesn't look to be much cooler.

I wasn't paying attention during the day, but at 9 AM it was 82 already, and now at 6PM almost it's80.

The other night I got up around 2 AM; when I checked the temp outside it was 92 ºF (Central AR, near Little Rock).

I do not envy you, laf. Keep hydrated.

75º F here in north central Iowa. Thunderstorm just rolled through and made it muggier.

A hot one tomorrow and then the extended forecast looks much better.

94, with 26% humidity in Sacramento. It was a little bit chilly this morning. I turn the AC off at night and open my bedroom window . I woke around 2-3 AM because it was cool, and I got under my light wool blanket.
